Tiger International Cup I freatures 28 Tiger teams¹ from 14 different countries.

This Tiger International Cup will be a 4 game Swiss tournament where all teams play 4 games.

Thanks to all teams taking part in this seasons Tiger International Cup. AC Tigers became the winners and they have now gotten a 1 year Supporter subscription sponsored by Kawasaki Tigers.
Tiger Unlimited also did well in this seasons TIC and might have won had they not accepted the wrong friendly invitation in the last round. I look forward to see who will win the next Tiger Cup. Next TIC will most likely run a bit more smooth as teams who made too many mistakes arranging wrong friendlies and teams who are no longer active will not be in the next TIC.
For the next TIC I would like to give out a prize that all have a chance of winning, so far I have thought of the fastest scored goal in a match, are there other good ideas then plase sen me a HT mail (to JakobTrier).

Here are the rules:

All times are in HT-time

Matches are played as friendly matches²

The home-playing time has to invite his opponent. He has to do that before 20:00 on Sunday. His opponent has to accept it before 20:00 on Monday³

The turnament format is True Swiss⁴ allowing all teams to play 4 games

After the 4 rounds the top ranked team will get to play a match against EM Tigers (founded 1997.11.30) from Sweden.
The highest ranked team that does not have supporter will get a suporter subscription for one year sponsored by Kawasaki Tigers.


A Tiger Federation named, yes you guess it "Tiger Federation" has been created. Please join it if you are a Hattrick Supporter Subscriper.

¹ A "Tiger Team" is a team that has the word "Tiger" in its team name, like "Kyoto Tigers", "Tigers of Bengal" etc.
² Cup-Rules or normal rules may be choosen by the home-playing team.
³ If a team is to late, the opponent has to tell me on HT mail (JakobTrier). The team that made the mistake will lose the match 5-0.
⁴ A Swiss tournament is a tournament in which players are paired with other players who are on the same score or as near as possible (second priority), while avoiding pairing players who have played each other earlier (first priority) in the tournament or are from the same country (forth priority) while trying to ensure that every team gets to play the same number of home and away matches (third priority). First round pairing will thus be random but teams from Sweden and germany will be seeded in one group against the rest seeded in another group to ensure that teams from the same country will not play against each other, in the second round all the ones who won in the first round will play someone who also won in the first round (because they have equal points (3)), all the ones who drew will play eachother and all the ones who lost will play eachother. 3rd round we have to look at the result of the first 2 matches and players with the same points after 2 matches will then play each other. It means that (like in a cup) if you win all your matches you should finish first, since there are so many teams in this competetion the result might depend on who has the best goal difference. It is the goal that everyone plays 2 away matches and 2 matches at home ground.
